Lower fairings
I'm looking to get a set of lower vented leg fairing for 2011 custom and was wonder how many of you have used the fairing factor lowers and how did you like the fit and finish

I have the factory vented lowers and I love them.
Perfect fit and the color was spot on.

He didn't mean the factory lowers.... he meant the "Fairing Factory" lowers. It's a brand name made in China. And they only come in black. I have not read anything bad about them. They are EXACT copies of the HD lowers, and even have the stamp marks on the inside.
If I had a black bike, I would try them. But if you don't have a black bike, the cost to have them painted would put the price in line with the real deal

I think that Lets-Go is referring to aftermarket lowers made by a company called "The Fairing Factory".
I'm on the look for some lowers as well so I'm interested. I found some posts from 2010 on HDforums that suggest they were selling for around 300 shipped, but it looks like they have raised their prices to 500 shipped.
I could only find them for sale on Ebay. For 300 I would buy them... for 500 I'll pay a few bucks more and get the HD lowers. @ 30 bucks more through PCpain.

+ 1 on getting them from PC PaiN, getting the HD fairing lowers will get you a matching paint job that is factory quality and you know they will fit perfectly.

Yes I did mean the company Fairing Factory I was looking at eastern performance they had vented with 6 1/2 speaker pods.

I went with the Fairing Factory Lowers and am very satisfied with them. Got them for about 365.00on sale direct from Fairing Factory with magnetic glove box doors and quick detach. Pictures in my album. Here is a couple links

Ordered a set yesterday direct from Andy at the Fairing Factory. If you go to their website you can get his email from the contact page.
Paid 450 shipped for vented w/ 6.5" speaker pods, vivid black.
Roughly 150 cheaper than true HD ones.
