Ok so my novice 2 cents. First, are you going to have the bike professionally tuned or not? If so then use whatever fuel module (tuner) your guy works best with. If not then you have a few options, but I had great results with a Thunder Max with auto tune on my last bike, tunes while you ride. There's also the Dynojet Powervision with the auto tune basic software on the unit itself, so you can see what's going on while you ride, you can also add the wide and sensors to this like the Thundermax.
As for pipes, this is as personal as what type of women do you like. Go out and listen to as many pipes as you can and pick what sound best to you. You can go with duals, or a 2-1 setup, for a stage one setup with no other work, it's a crap shoot go with what you like best as far as sounds and looks.
Good luck.

Stage one suggestions:
I was thinking of vance and Hines Monster round slip ons, big sucker or similar air cleaner assembly and there is a new module that is plug and play, sorry can't remember the name off hand; that is the direction I am headed.

I'd look at Fuel Moto and their combo's. If not, The MC has all the parts to do the STAGE1. I did a mix of both. I have the PCV, Head pipe and stage1 air cleaner from FuelMoto and the Performance Touring 4" slip-ons from the MC. If I had to do it again...I'd probably get some different slip-ons but I bought them as part of the deal when I bought the bike new.I like this set-up pretty good. FWIW...I'd spring for the Ceramic coated head pipe. I paid $140.00 to get mine coated AFTER I bought it.

Where do I start.
1st. question Do you have a good tuner in your area that can? And what is he or she like to use for an EFI system.
There are many to chose from.
PCV
Power V.
TTS
SEPRO
Thundermax.
2nd There are many Air cleaner to chose from which almost 99% are using a K&N filter. Some are larger than others for bigger applacations.
Zippers makes a great one.
Arlen Ness.
SE.
etc.,
3rd, Exhaust
There are many to chose from. Just make sure you pick one that can grow with your engine needs in the future just in case you want to do more work...power
2:1
2:1:2
Slip ons
True duals
You need to find one you like the looks style and performance and sound.
If you want to talk with someone just give me a call or Im sure there are other Vendors here that can help you also.
Thanks FD.

If you buy a decent 2 into 1 it will work well now and better when and if the build grows later. The Dragula is what I recommend to customers lately and they always have delivered good torque and horsepower.
