Probably not a good idea to put wax on brushed aluminum.
I have been running Southern Motorcycle Works wheels now for a bit with absolutely no issues. They are good quality forged wheel blanks. They polish up really easily and hold there shine nice (small pores) I am switching my 21" Octane cross cut for a 23" Octane cross cut. If I told you the price SMW charged me of just the wheel and no hubs you would fall over LOL
