Southern MC brushed finish wheels....care?

Thinking about the brushed finish wheels by Southern MC. Has anyone had experience with these wheels, or finish, and how is it to care for. Thought they would look bad ass with a black denim finish on my future RG. Randy at Southern said that the aluminum was heat treated and only takes soap and water and to be dried with a microfiber towel and baby powder.

Ive talked to those guys about buying a set of wheels and asked around about them I coldnt get any info on them either

If there not clear coated you could probably use a mild Scotch bright on them to keep them looking good

I'd wax them with a few coats of a good wax first and then wipe then down weekly until they looked like they needed a polishing and polish them. If they are powder coated they are probably a lot easier to keep clean than raw aluminum. I am not sure how they sell their wheels so inesxpensively but I wonder about the quality of the aluminum they use for those prices.

Probably not a good idea to put wax on brushed aluminum.
I have been running Southern Motorcycle Works wheels now for a bit with absolutely no issues. They are good quality forged wheel blanks. They polish up really easily and hold there shine nice (small pores) I am switching my 21" Octane cross cut for a 23" Octane cross cut. If I told you the price SMW charged me of just the wheel and no hubs you would fall over LOL

I will sell you my 21" Octane after I change it. Just have to get hubs which are like 200 bucks from SMW
