Then there are two tires, I think there is a 50 and 55. One is low profile, the other will give you a better ride and is not much taller. I went with the 55 (better ride).

Yup forgot about that, lol. I had a set of PM wheels on my 2011 Ultra Limited and had the 21/17 setup. Those wheels now reside on another forum members bike.

Thanks for the input everyone! The more I think about it I will prolly just keep the stock wheel since I plan in the future to stretch the bags and won't see it anyway!

And another dollar for every time the person who said it wound up getting the matching rear anyway because they couldn't stand seeing the stocker peeking out from beneath the bags.
A 200/55/17 tire will be tad taller than stock and a 200/50/17 tire will be a tad shorter - less than 1/4" in each case. If you do a lot of 2-up riding, the 55 tire is the way to go.

I know damn well I'll eventually get a matching one but I also know I won't be able to stand looking at the stocker. I'm looking to get a chrome stocker for right now and keep the stock rear tire atleast until I can afford the 17/200 P.S. even with stretched bags you can still see the stock rear wheel and shit, YOU still know its there. lol

Exactly what I was alluding to
You still see the stocker, and the nicer the bike gets the more it will bother you, lol. And once you have had wheel son your bike anytime you look at one where they only swapped the front the stock rear sticks out like a sore thumb.
I have though liked the solid chrome rear wheels like those yaffee sells, those are a nice alternative. You can get them black too........
