I came from a 2004 Heritage Softtail Classic. The very first ride on the RGC was fantastic. Handles so much better than the Heritage. I fell in luv day 1. Been grinnin' like a 5 year old on Christmas morning ever since.

Rode Dynas for years. Got on my RGU and took off with the OL on the back and rode 60 miles home. Not a worry.

I was enlightened when I traded my 09 Fatboy. The RG on the test ride was so nible and smooth that I knew that that it was what I had been looking for.

I went from a softail springer to a rg. Took zero time to adjust to the rg except for low speed moves (feet down, parking lot moves). I lowered mine 1.5'' to get my feet more firmly on the ground. It helped a lot. I now refer to the springer as the minibike.

You will love it! But still I would of went to another dealer and give them my business.

They didn't have one for me to test drive. They had one coming in on order, in fact im still waiting for it. So many other people were trying to get their hands on it, so I had to put a down payment and make a deal before even getting on the bike.
I was fortunate enought that when I went, there were 2 customers their who both have 2012 RG CVO. They let me sit on theirs.
But my dealer did not have one RG in stock.

I guess two black and gray RGs is a pretty impressive sight. Afmittedly, we were stretching the riding season a little bit. But, get ready for compliments
The '01, with about 85,000 and the '11 with 23,000 miles performed flawlessly.
I think you'll like it. Just ride it. Not much adjustment, if any to the fixed fairing IMO. I went from a FatBoy to the '01 RG. Handles light years better than a Fatty, IMO.

I'll do you one better. Purchased my 2013 RGU YESTERDAY. Not only did I not ride it (dealer didn't have it), but I'm taking the Riders Edge course TOMORROW. Does that mean I've got grande stones below the belt or above the neck?
