Daytona March 2013...Places to stay?

Me and some buddies are planning on riding to Daytona 2013 in March. Would love some suggestions on some nice places to stay near the action. Open to all price points as long as the facility is nice, near the action, and AWESOME! LOL Thanks in advance.

This year we stayed at the Ramada directly across the street from the Speedway so you can easily walk over. Decently priced, basic but clean rooms. Theres a restaurant on site and a gas station/convenient store next door. They have a bike wash area too.

The closest you can get to the downtown action is on the beach. We did this last year and it was great to ride all day, park the bikes and literally walk across A1A to party all night. A little further down the beach to the North (about two miles) I stayed at a place named Sun Viking Lodge. Clean rooms, pool, reasonable rates, and my view in the morning was the sun coming up over the Atlantic. This was also a close to the action of downtown but definitely riding to it verses being able to walk.
BTW - The walk back to the hotel was twice as long as the walk from the hotel... (Lots of weaving!)

Stayed at the Hampton for Biketoberfest. Not as nice as most Hamptons but pretty clean. They have a place out front roped off for bikes. You can walk to the Speedway but if you're looking to party at night nothing close enough you don't have to ride. The Speedway pulls in the sidewalks at dark and the only thing in walking distance is an Olive Garden next door.

Never stayed at the Hilton but it is right across A1A from Main Street. Looks to have a parking garage but the driveway into it looks like it could be tricky negotiating the first time or two. Looks to be quite a little hill leading to it. There are others in walking distance but the Hilton is the closest. Course walking distance is a relative thing dependin' on whose doin' the walkin'


edited....just checked and looks like both of these hotels are already booked. They are for the last weekend of Bike Week anyway
