Headlight Surround

I have a 2007 model and am interested in changing the headlight surround. Was looking at one from Hells foudry, but I am not sure what is involved in installing this. I know that the outer lens just pops off. But I am not sure how to remove the inner piece.

The surround just pops out and you replace it with whatever style you want. I have the chrome one from Hells Foundry. They are just one piece. If you want a different look, check out the one Chainsaw is making too, its called the Mean Mug.

If youre looking to remove the bubble lense cover and want to go for the 2010 and newer look without the bubble then you simply need to take the bubble off pick up the 09 cvo headlight bezel and snap it on. Or you can go with an aftermarket bezel

Thanks for the replies. Maybe it will be warm enough to take a look tomorrow. I have had the outer lens off but did not notice that the inner surround just popped out also. I was not sure if I had to remove the fairing or not.

The bubble pops off but the inner black "surround" piece doesnt. Thats part of the whole headlight bracket assembly.

I ordered from Hells Foundry over three weeks ago.no email,phone calls or communications what's so ever. So I don't even know what to do. Not a happy camper.

That really sucks. I ordered from them around Christmas and got an immediate email reciept. Two days later I got a shipping confirmation with tracking number. You called and left messages I assume?

I am going to order the CVO part that everyone has installed (69987-09). I did not realize that it was just remove the bubble and pop the new bezel on. I thought that part of the headlight assembly was part of the bezel. I will order this week. I did look at Hells Foundry, but their bezel is $100, when I can order from harley for $41. Not much of a decision for me.
