Default Space between tank and seat WTF

I got a Covington solo seat and it leaves a nice 2-3" space between the bottom of the tank and the seat, not like the stocker that has an overlap.

What do you guys do, is there a solution for that a cover or something the seat is cool but the space it creates not so much can see all the wires.

Frequently happens with some of the "minimalist" seats. The lower and leaner they are, the more they can expose. Not all do, but some.

JP cycles sells a filler block. Its used on the electra glides when you switch to a street glide seat. I think it will work fine in your case.

Its a seat design issue if you have that much space. One thing you may want to look at though is the mounting bracket where it mounts to the seat and see if you can adjust it. We are working on a solo seat and have made ours adjustable where you can move them to adjust the seats position on the bike but its only around a one inch adjustment if you have 2-3"s thats in the design of the seat or it was made to use with a stretched tank.

I had to use this "Trim Piece" to put a road king seat on my '06. Not sure if there is a newer version of it for later models or not. My bet is there is.
