I have the same ones on my 10. My dealer quoted about the same and I told them if it took more than 3 hours then they should fire their techs. I did them way faster and have been running all stock wires cables and brake lines for 18k miles without a single problem.

Gotta agree, do them yourself, I did on 10 inch Monkees, takes time yes however for 225 I have a killer set of Paul Yaffe bars, about 6 hrs for me however I really took my time, I'll probably help out some of the guys in my club do theirs, now that I got some confidence.

Remember to file down the pre drilled holes of any metal shavings. I failed to do so and had issues with my wires rubbing and being cut. Don't want you to go through that aggravation...

Damn. I'm about to order some 10" outlawz, and the Indy said he charges
4 hours labor for them if it takes him that long (giving him some lee-way). Usually does em' in 3-3.5.

But that's Canadian time, right?

Took me about 10 hourss to install my 12" Outlawz. If I did it again I think I could do it in about 6 hours... (There are several tricks that make it much easier)

I used the stock cables for an entire season (about 6,000 miles) with no issues.
Here is picture with the stock cables...
