Colonel Brassy
Hope this is correct subsection. I had some burnt rubber on my exhaust (still training my fiancé) and was having a bear of a time taking off. Buddy recommended Colonel Brassy. Came right off and chrome looks good as new. Recommend if you are having same issues.

Good luck on the training of the fiance. My bride has rode with me for 28 years now and still leaves gifts on the pipes. I take the boot marks and tar off with Mothers Chrome polish while pipes are warm.

I use the softest steel wool I can find, (usually at an auto parts store and real cheap) works well and shines the chrome.

Make sure you use name brand SOS pads though! I also make sure I got a bucket of soapy water. Usually when I wash the bike. I tried the HD boot remover, and its not bad. Worked pretty good
