More Gerbings - Panel Mounted Port
Anyone purchase and install on your bike anywhere the Gerbings "Panel Mounted Ports" to plug your heated gear? If so, what do you think? Is it simple install? Do you just drill hole, install same and then plug your existing piece that plugs into your battery to the rear of this port and then plug your jacket into it and go? Any pictures with info would be great.?
Thanks.

Yes
check out my winter mod thread from last year. There are some pictures of my port. I used the aux plug under the seat that works off the aux switch. I love it!!!

That is exactly what I am looking to do! Can you please provide me some details as to exactly how you did it?
Since I already have the jacket liner/gloves and everything is hooked up to my battery now with their cord just dangling....what (step by step if you dont mind do I need to do to get that exact look you have going on).
Is the Port all I need to buy ($16) from Gerbings to complete this project?
Thanks so much for that picture and any extra comments you can provide would be very appreciated!
PS: Absolutely LOVE the 09 SE!! Great bike ya got there!!

I made the bracket from an broken bracket from a craftsman leaf vacuum. I can get you some pics. I used 2 holes already in the frame for the mount screws. Here is a link to some connection info from cvo harley that I posted. Beware I posted a mistake cause the aux plug under the seat has a ground, hot w/ing. on, brake light , and aux switched power conections.
