This may seem wierd, but...
The last bike I had was Black Cherry, I bought a painted inner fairing, loved it and thought it made the bike look better. The bike I have now is Vivid Black. Well a few weeks ago I bought a painted inner fairing, and I haven't installed it yet, because I actually like how the OEM black inner fairing looks. I looked at another black RG the other day with a painted inner fairing, it looked good, but I still like the OEM on a black bike. So for now I'm not going to change.

Hey whatever makes you happy man. I was concerned about painting it because of the glare, but forum members say thats not true. I haven't decided either way yet.

I get WAY more glare off the White Gauges than the inner fairing. Mine is Vivid Black on a Mirage Orange bike.

Midnight pearl on a brilliant silver pearl bike. Not much glare and the midnight pearl is a different enough black to make it interesting. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1357572935.644358.jpg

your not alone i also dont mind the look of the OEM inner fairing.

You're going to leave something stock?! There's no room for that kind of BS on this forum.

Lol, well it's not completely stock, I do have four speakers in the fairing if that counts.

I think it has a nice contrast, I was trying to imagine what a blue, red, or any other color bike would look like if they had an inner fairing painted in the same color, but denim. I think it would look kind of neat, which is what you actually have with a black bike.

Have to agree with the others on this one . Its the one thing you see all day and it looks good . Any consalation had my Indy do the cut out for 2 RF 6.5 slim line speakers.  And they did it with my Black Pearl paint job already done.
