ONG pretty much has it pegged. There will be a separate activities/plans thread, so consider this a slightly more in-depth sneak preview:
Every day, Tuesday through Thursday there will be a variety of guided rides to choose from, one all-day ride, a half-day ride, and shorties that can be done "A Le Carte" The scenery will blow you away.
Tuesday night, Zion HD is throwing a BBQ for us at their shop just outside of the entrance to Zion.
Thursday night will be a banquet at the main hotel where we will have various "awards" and maybe some of the below activities.
We'll have the raffle for the swag that Tracy is rounding up, we'll decide on next year's Shark Week, we'll have the T-shirt swap. When those occur will be determined later. Other possible organized activities include work shops, music jam(s), a week-long photo/scavenger hunt contest, and some other things we are mulling over.
Most important, though, is we'll just sit around and have a few refreshments of various types, put faces with forum names, swap some stories, ogle each others' bikes, and laugh so much that your face will hurt.
Friday morning we will leave, very sorry that it all went by so quickly.
BTW, in order to help in our planning, please be sure to register with Tracy at
this link. We know there are many planning to go who have not signed on yet. It's not a commitment, but it will help us greatly to know your intentions. Having a somewhat accurate head count will assist us greatly in the planning. We still have around 35 rooms available at the Lexington, and once those go, we will fall back on a neighboring facility that is eager to know our plans.
