My 13" light tint LRS Mako came in about an hour ago so now it's on the bike and here's some pic's. It's 31* and snow so I won't be taking it for a ride quite yet. One thing I will say about the windshield is, pictures don't do justice. In person it looks better on the bike. The top is 7.25" above the radio using a level. I haven't decided what trim I'm going to use yet if any. Thickness of the 13" is about the same as a stock windshield but doesn't feel flimsy like the stock shield.
Looks close to the size I'll need. 31 degrees is perfect to see if it really works, lol.

Believe it or not we made it to 60* today. All the snow is melted and there is sand in the intersections so I headed out for a ride on the Interstate. The bike loves the cool air so off I went running through the gears wearing my 3/4 helmet. Jamming down the Interstate at 75+ my helmet made no noise from any buffeting effect so I lifted the shield up completely and had no issues. I ran it up to 85+ and still no ill effects. Then I retracted my built in sun shade and there was no problem with air in the eyes. When I got within a mile of home I stopped at one of the interchanges removed my helmet, no hat or skull cap, slammed it in gear and off I went all the way to 80. All I got was nice clean air on top of my head, nothing in my face nor my eyes. I had no issues seeing over the shield and I was glad I got a light tint. I had to stick my head way out to the side to get any forceful air. I think a passenger will be happy with it.
