Does anyone have the Kuryakyn plug-in driver backrest?
I was able to get in my first ride over 100 miles today. Absolutely love my 06RG! but have to get a backrest. It sounds like most people don't like the H-D one so I was looking at the Kuryakyn plug-in backrest. I'm using the H-D reach seat. Any opinions?
Thanks!

Back rest
I put one on at the end of the riding season so I only got a few miles in before putting the bike away for the season. It made a big difference. Much better than not having one. Others have the hd adjustable or mustang - both more $. I am happy with the Kuryakyn. Easy to install and works fine. Mustang would have been my next choice. Shop ebay should be about 150 shipped - phatpreformance. Ride safe and often.

A friend of mine has one on his street glide. He loves it. Said he paid a lot less than the HD but I am not sure how much it was.

No experience with the Kuryakyn backrest but I love my HD adjustable backrest.

You can adjust the height by simply pulling or pushing the backrest up or down. Front to back, and tilt angle is a mechanical adjustment you have to take the seat off to do - neither too hard - and once you have it set where it feels right you really don't mess with it again. You can remove the backrest and put it your side bag when parked so some dirtbag does not take it.

I have the HD backrest because u got the dealer to add it along with other items after the price was already negotiated.
Anyhow I have nothing to compare it to as this is my first bagger and first backrest. But I know I love it!
