There are also aftermarket head units that have enough memory to just store your music on it. I'm far from getting to the audio on my bike, there's a nice list of other things to do before I get to the tunes.

It would be too expensive to change out to an aftermarket head unit and the kit to get hand controls, and then the CB and rear speakers... so I'll likely just do a 64 GB iPod with the harness. Add an amp and I'm good.
