Clear LRS Mako - Needs Black Tint on Bottom

I purchased the clear LRS Mako shield and am very happy with it. The shield needs the black tint piece on the bottom 3 inches of the shield though. The fairing doesn't line up perfect the tint would hide that. What would you guys suggest to accomplish that?

what I'm about to do to my 8" phantom shield. Hit with a coat of the John Deere Blitz black. I've done it to another shield. since you only want a trim at the bottom just tape of the part you dont want painted and light sand with a 600-800 grit paper and then spray about 3 light coats and you should be fine. Additionally what works real good is the dupli-color ceramic matte black engine paint you can get at oreilly auto parts. it lays a real smooth finish.

As stated above for prep and you can also use Dupont "Fusion" aerosol paint from Ace hardware. It's made to paint plastic and sticks really well.

I took a Harley 10 inch to my local sign guy and had him put black sticker sheet on it had him make it 5 inches cost me $20.
