If(?) draining and/or removing the tank is the only option then I think I'll wait a bit. I want to run the wire from my Power Vision as well as the isimple wire. Definitely don't want to have to do that twice.

I'm sure it could be routed under the dash too.

I installed mine yesterday and followed the provided directions. I have a full tank of gas and still removed the gas tank w/ no issues. In the end, a very neat install if you follow the directions...

I bought just the wire because I already had a RAM mount,also I ran mine underneath the tank console and it fit just fine. I could not be happier. These guys are top notch to do business with.
