The guys is a crook for charging that. I had never done bars at all yet alone internal wire a set. Took me about 5 hours to do my 12" Outlaws. Best tip I can give is be patient with the TBW connectors and you can get them easily. But even more important, LUBE, go to Home Depot or lowes and buy a bottle of "clear glide" and be liberal with it and your wires will go in fine. I'm an electrician so I used a steel fish-tape to pull the wires through but a wire coat hanger or a pull string will be just as good. You can do this and the forum can and will help if needed. Oh and stock cables are fine if you re-route the clutch cable.

I did mine at home after removing them from my bike at my buddies garage.
It was a very tedious job. But it can be done without paying someone $1600-$1700 in hard earned ca$h.
My recommendations are 1. read Donk's sticky on how it's done, 2. purchase the cvo twist grip, it eliminated the dreaded green plug, 3. lots of wire lube, 4. a good snake or equivalent to pull the wires through some guys use weed whacker line and 4. lots of patience.
When the going gets tough step away to clear your mind.
Best of Luck!

My dealer told me if i go up to 12" I would need new wire harness. They make money on the ones who are not in the know. I told him I am a member of Road Glide Org forum and dozens of Road Glide bars were changed with stock cables. He said nothing....

The guy's full of sh**t. I mean you watch the video's and step by step instructions and 5 hours or so your done. My buddy did his outlaws in 3 hours, but this is your first time, so it may be 5 hours.
