2011 windshield

Did anybody notice the tinted windshield on the 360 view of the RGU? It has an extreme amount of layback, but still quite tall. I haven't been able to find it in the accs catalog or anywhere else for that matter. I think it looks great, if it works anywhere close to how it looks it would be really good. Anybody know anything about it?

man that thing is layed back and looks good!! I wonder if because the camera doesn't pic up the windshields (if you look at other models, most of them look fake as well) they just photoshop one in. I'd like to see one like that offered though.

That's only in the pic.... I rode the 2011 yesterday (around the parking lot)..../ dealer doesn't have them on the floor yet. Windshield seems to have a different profile, slanting back more than my 08. I've attached a pic from my phone which still doesn't do the color any justice.

My test ride on the RG Ultra is this afternoon, I'll get some pics of the windshield. Anybody else looking for anything specific as long as I'm there (that doesn't require dis assembly of the bike)?

Have to wonder if it would work on a 2010... It looks like it might just be the one some of us are looking for... I asked when they were going to be on the floor at our local shop, but they were'nt sure. Only that they should be here before the Dark Custom party the dealership sponsors in August.

It's not the stock windshield, I saw 2 merlot RGUs last night also, maybe the shield doesn't exist, but it should!

No test ride this afternoon, the RG Ultra at my dealer is spoken for. I did take the standard winshield height measurement, and suprise, it's 13 3/4" from the top of the little ledge / shelf above the speedometer / Tach to the top of the windshield.

I was definitely looking through the windshield, not over it like I did on my 09 with the stock windshield. I took some pictures, but can't get the camera and computer to sunchronize (for some reason).

The 2011 seat is pretty nice. Gonna have to check out one of those when they show up in the parts book. Looks identical to the 2011 Ultra seat.

BTW, that Sedona Orange color looks pretty HOT to me. Especially on the Wide Glide.

Just ordered a 2001 RG Custom, Sedona Orange, Power Pack option with 103 engine, ABS and Security. I looked very hard at the RG Ultra.

That windshield is the 19" HD shield that is in the catalog. Was thinking about that for the new bike I ordered. Had a RK Classic so I'm new to the whole RG family.

Has anyone tried that 19" on a 2010? From what I have heard there was a change to the fairing in 2010 or maybe even 09.

Won't get the new bike till Oct so I have time to keep reading all these windshield threads. I'm 6'3" so I need a tall shield for cruising. I will tell you it is very confusing but the wind thing is not just a RG thing. Had it on the King as well.
