Met with FLTREAGLE on Saturday...He came up with a good idea on eleminating radio noise. Let me shield the harness?!?! If that does not cure it, then we must have an issue with the factory radio ground. What do you think?

Interference
Picked thebike up today. Heading out on a cross country thurs. fm band noise could not be fixed. Will take it up again when I get back at the end of the month. Tony says they tried aluminum foil, no joy. Maybe an inline filter beteen the radio antenna and the radio?

Ok...could be. I didn't know it was just FM noise. That should help narrow it down. Call me when you get back and let's talk.

According to PC Pain HD is going to be selling LEDs for the RG really soon, they already have a part number but no picture yet, the price $699. It will be interesting to see what it looks like, also the quality and durability of the material they use.

Parts manager at my local dealership in Burlington NC says he has a set on order, has part #, price and "drawing" no pic. I told him 7 bills is a whole lot of money for what should come standard on a top of the line motorcycle called an Ultra, still on my wish list though.

Guys, I must apologize to everyone, including Big Jim, I had plans to be at Shark Week, but you know the saying of best laid plans of mice and men, well I didn't make it. LIsten I just want to say these LEDS from Big Jim truly are awesome. The light is white and the people that have seen them are impressed. Friends riding with me tell me how much these lights light up the road. They are cheaper than the HD lights and Big Jim has them set up to be a plug and play set up. Really should take a long look at these-they are great!
