I am interested in the new Shoei GT Air. I have seen where you can pre-order, but not sure when some REAL reviews will be available. I currently have the Shoei RF 1000. I like the internal sun visor on the new helmet.

Full face in the winter for me. 3/4 in the summer.

The internal sun visor is a fantastic feature. I have it in the Neotech. The optical clarity is perfect. Now I don't like wearing sunglasses while I ride.

I wear a bell flip on a trip. A half around town. The flip is the way to go on the road.. safer and better rain protection.

I had a Shoei. Now I have an Arai. Both full face.Just bought an Outlaw 1/2 for the heat of the summer. Arai is the only co that offers 3 head shapes, round, normal, and long oval. I wear a XXXL long oval. Lighter than Shoei and fits better. If your current helmet isn't perfect, Arai might be.

SEVEN ZERO SEVEN Backlash Full-Face.

Might go to a half when the weather gets hot again. But then again, went down in 1980 and rubbed all the skin off of my entire face, tore my left ear in half (it went back together with some stitches). Just trust me when I say that sort of road burn hurts like hell.

Thanks for the reminder. I do have a 1/2 helmet that I wear sometimes, but I know that in the event that I actually needed a helmet the full is the one I should have On.
