I have found that if I put mine in the side bag it gives the bike a much cleaner look.

lower right side under the floorboard or crash bar makes sense to me

that way when they check the vin, they check the sticker.

Just move to Florida the state did away with inspections . Said most inspectors were looking for payoff,s. but we do have a lot of junkersmon the road

Tx has never asked for it when I have been pulled over. Not that it happens to much lol. I leave it in the side bag.

Mine's in the document holder in the tour pak. Pretty sure it's supposed to be in clear view but I'm not gonna worry about it.

Default inspection plate

I took the bolt off of the kickstand and placed the chrome tag holder there and replaced the bolt. It is required in Pa to be on the left side of the bike and the holder to be UNREMOVEABLE but when getting inspected that isn't enforced they just stick it on there.
