Another vote here for the Iron Aces mount, and the MotionX GPS app.

The only problem (initially) was that you couldn't lock the orientation to landscape, so on the twisties, the iPhone was changing to portrait and back. I sent an email to the developer, and explained my problem. They now have a setting that you use to lock the orientation into landscape mode. Problem solved!

Any of you that use this approach can now shower me with your affection for getting this fixed... Small bills only...

I too have the waze app(free) like roadiewingZ and I think it works great. It even has a nice feature that if someone else has waze you can send them a link and it will open it up on their waze and you can meet at the same spot. anyways, What I have done is I bought a bluetooth receiver on ebay that plugs into the aux jack of stereo and I just stream the music via bluetooth and I have the waze app stream voice over bluetooth as well, so I can hear it thru the roadies stereo. I have a standard mount that holds my iphone to the handlebars and right next to my volume controls.

Oh and no cables except when charging my iphone.

Default Waze.

I didn't know about waze, I downloaded it into my iPhone, great tip, thanks. I have the iron aces speed iPhone mount, along with thier wiring. The iPhone talks to me. Sure like to find an arrangement where I could answer the phone thru my helmet headset. Any suggestions? I don't want to add a gps, rather use the phone

I plug my phone into the radio with 3.5-3.5 cable. My tunes and nav voice prompts go through that. I use the phones Bluetooth to pair with my cardo scala rider q2 helmet headset.

That suggest you have a Bluetooth module on your bike, what kind do you have and how do you like it?
