Dealer has a plate bracket with the proper rear lens with the clear light for the plate on the bottom of the lens.
For one of the Road Glide Custom Models
Pricey though!
I've used the softbrake one on my Road King and Heritage, but I guess my question is - what do you do with the license plate mount that comes with the detach kit - is it removable in a clean way?
The bracket that is under the tour-pak is welded on. If you get the tour-pak relocation kit it will give you another bracket to put it back in a similar location. There is a whole thread with tons of pics of my bike and other members rides showing the differences and a couple of options as far as lighting your plate on the thread call license plate relocation . Do a search you'll find it here.
Kwel. I, personally didn't like the Bullet turn signals. So the first thing I changed was the Bullet lights.
First I went with the "Softbrake" style license plate mount. I used Kuryakyn LEDs to light the plate.
I ended up using the Road King Turn Signal bar.
Then I added the rear Fascia with the bottom LEDs.
