The thing to remember is that these units learn, to accomplish this you need to shut off and restart the bike at the different elevations. That way the sensors can readjust the ecm.

The Delphi ECM is continually updating live anytime the motor is running. There are however some early EFI vehicles that calculated Baro before the motor was started which could potentially cause issues if you experienced large changes for example in altitude or air density, fortunately this is not an issue with the Delphi EFI used on HD models.
