Your post about the trim screwing with your clearcoat got my scared. Went to take my shield off and pushed a wellnut into the fairing:banghead: Your KW looks good. I have the 8inch as well and I was tempted to pick up your WV for trips but its become clear that I dont need to be switching shields on the regular

Bike is lookin Great ~ Enjoy ~ This is why I CVO'd ~ a little work ~ but on my 10 Ultra I was always removing something for Powdercoatin.... Just seemed to go on forever ~ SemperFi ~ so 71k on the clock ~ I 12'd it to my firt RG

Screw that damn trim! Sucks about your well nut. Chain actually has an old YouTube video on how to put on the windshield without loosing them. Simple way that I never thought about until I saw it.

I don't mind some wind man. I put a lot of miles on uncomfortable bikes with no shields before this RG. Just having a fairing is like heaven to me. The shield and the lowers are all for looks.

Yeah the trim will come off. I dont mind it now but once I paint match the windshield I know Im going to hate it.
