not quite true. you get one point for every dollar. you get an additional 1 point for every dollar at a gas station or restaurant. then you also get an additional 2 points for every dollar spent at a hd dealer. so they do add up quick.

i put purchases that i'm going to make anyway on this card, then pay it off at the end of the month. no finance charge. and while i don't have enough points saved up to buy a $1000 tour pak, i do have almost enough to get a set of daymakers. and besides, wouldn't a $700 or even $800 tourpak be just so much easier to take?

thats easy, they don't want you saving your points for a dozen years then walking into the dealer and throwing down enough points to ride out with a new bike. though, that would be awesome
