need a tire guy, I've "had it" with Dunlop

Can any one suggest a tire replacement other than Dunlop for:

130/70B18
180/55B18
These are the OEM size HD specified for the CVO 09 Road Glide.

I received my 09 CVO Road Glide in Sept. of 08, I now have 51,000 on the bike, there has never been a time or set of Dunlops that there was not an "issue" with, thread pattern reversed, cupping, side wall cracking (tire was 19 months old), I have on numerous times discussed these issues directly at Sturgis & Daytona of these problems, at first they were open and acted considered, now you bring up these issues up & suddenly they jusy don't have time to talk with you.

I have to replace tires again & I just do not want to purchase Dunlop, & I have checked with Michelin they do not make this size.

These tires were introduced in 09 and I do not understand with all the issues others have had in other sizes as well how Dunlop can still get us to buy them. Any suggestions would be appericated.

I'd go with metzlers if Michelin don't have a size and u don't want Dunlop

I would recommend Metzelers, howe ver please be aware you will not get the same mileage out of a set of Metzelers. I prefer the stickiness and shape of the tire of Metzelers much better than dunlops and am willing to pay the Metzeler tax on my bikes.

I have never found stock tires on any motorcycle I have ever owned to handle very well.

You have several choices if you get radial construction. However I just put new rear on mine ,same size as yours, and all I could find was the OEM Dunlop. I had good luck with mine.....got 16k out of it.

I was told I could have ordered an Elite 3, which is also a Dunlop. Good luck with your search.
