ge6280, does the high/low beam HD garage door opener still work with this mod? Just curious if the Daymakers have the same issue. She's gonna get tired of opening the door for me in the rain! ( I can say that here, she doesn't read this!)
I don't have the HD garage door opener, but I do use the Flash2Pass opener. I assume the HD opener is very similar. I have no issues with mine. All it takes is a double pulse of 12V to the transmitter to trigger it, so the style of headlights really shouldn't affect it at all.

In fact, on my last bike, I didn't use the headlight circuit at all, but instead connected it to a momentary switch on the handlebars. Two flicks of that switch did the trick.

I see the new bezel inthe pic. Do you have to replace the bezel? Just had mine painted, may disqualify me from this part.

No, you don't have to change it. I did because the one that came with the Daymakers is gloss black and stocker is flat. I'd think you could reuse your painted one with no issues.

Hmmm. The daymaker bezel looked to be the same physical shape, dimensions and features - just a nice shiny black versus the stock matte black finish.

Default Daymakers installed!

Thanks for all of the advice on this thread, installation was easy and the lighted bar and shield logo works.

Ready to get out at night to try these things out!
