2ch, 4ch or mono amp?

I going to order four of the focal 165 and the Rockford pbr300 amp. Just not sure what channel amp to get. I would assume four speaker order four channel amp. Would I get more power bridging?

get a 4 ch amp if you plan on adding speakers in the future, but the RF 4 ch amp only runs 4 ohm speakers as the RF 2ch runs both 2 & 4 ohm speakers.. Just something to think about.

I am ordering 4 speakers now. I don't think this small of an amp could handle more then 4. Am I wrong?

The 4 channel RF is only 4 ohm stable so unless you performed magic with the wiring I wouldn't recommend hooking up more than 4. The 300x2 could do it but I think you would still be working it really hard. Like you said, they are small. If you want to do more than 4 speakers, why not just buy two. You could easily push 8 speakers at a power level approaching 700 watts with two PBR 300x2s.

I'm pushing 6 speakers now with 2 PBR 300x2 amps, 2 focals and 4 RFs, since all the speakers are 4 ohms I still have room for 2 more, and power to spare. Look through some of the audio threads, I personally prefer the 300x2, besides being 2 ohm stable, its more adjustable, and IMO, sounds a little better.

Thanks, I have been reading alot in the audio section. Looks like I will like the sound of 2 pbr300x2 and 4 of the focal 165 ca1. 2 in the fairing and 2 in the lowers. Where do you install both the amps? I have seen plares for 1 in the fairing, will both fit in the fairing?

Have you seen h-donut's plates that are specifically designed for the pbr amps and fit inside the fairing? A very nice product indeed.
