For mild bolt ins the convenient affordable solution are the SE part 18404-08. From there I move to Smiths and those are custom for the application, wall thickness varies as does the lengths I use according to whether or not the stack height is very far from stock. I use the evo lower tubes 17938-83 and the SE spring clips 17634-99 with all of the Smiths pushrods and do not order their "fast install" kit under any circumstances.

The early pushrods (-99) are not tapered.
No issue with bolt in and lower lift cams and stock or near stock stack height assuming the rocker stands are centered during reassembly. The place where they can rub is at the crimp in the top inner tube.

Like was stated here the SE are the way to go, the last set I bought was $165.00 at Harley Dealer.

I've used the -99 pushrods (SE kit) with Woods TW-6H without any interference issues.

I always thought the rubbing location was at the bottom of the upper tube, not at the top.
