Hey ladies and gents, been on the forum since April of last year but had not posted cause I had lost or misplaced my password and being that I am not all that savy as far as computers go it took me a while to figure out how to reset my password but here I am(apui estamos y no nos vamos) Have really enjoyed reading the posts and have used some tips from some of them. Thanks to all. Pancho
Howdy from east of Lee's Summit the 20 wght fork oil helps a lot withg the nose dive and with handling my steering needed adjusting at the 1000 it took care of the shaking at low speeds most guys go to heritage bars that will bring it back to you did you get the custom or ultra.I have the ultra and boos and I or happy with the seat takes a while to break it in we put about 5000 miles on and it got about the way I like it. Ended up with 19000 this year easy bike to put the miles on. Welcome hope we meet soon will help you get it dialed in
Are you running stock bars on yours? Sounds like weather might be in the 60's this weekend. Hopefully we can meet soon :-)
Got the bike back from the dealer. They didn't even take the forks apart or change fluids. All they did was tighten the bearings (again, third time in 1500 miles).
I made them keep it and double check their work... Still only work done was adjusting the steering nut.
I have only rode about 30 miles (since picking it up) but I'm almost positive I heard the sound twice...
Welcome to the forum from Central Jersey. I hope your fork situation gets addressed. Man, how many times do you have to tell them before they do something??!! I put Heritage bars on mine and love them. You'll have to do some tweaking to get it all right for you, which can be time and $ consuming. Lots of info here so good luck and keep us posted.
Welcome to the forum. At least they are working on it and not saying it is within spec as they tried with me. Thanks the Lord for this website so I could speak with some knowledge with service manager.
