Not sure about mounting with lowers. My problem with other radars is that I get caught in the rain a lot. Looks like the other radars rate better, but none of the others are made for a motorcycle and some are very hard to see in daylight. The remote LEDs are very bright on this radar and easy to see in daylight.

Not sure why the photos are gone ???

I also ride in the rain a lot so it looks like it may be the only choice, for now.

An update on the TPX. I've been running it for 2 weeks now and I can
Honestly say I've only had a couple false alarms. I know the review didn't rate it great. But it's a keeper for me and I'll be purchasing the audio headset for it. It has a lot less false readings than the x50, the valentine and whistler. Believe me I've tested them all

The range seems to be good too.
I picked up a trooper about 1.5 miles up the road,

The K40 has a front and rear receiver. You can order it with just front. It's a lil bigger then a pack of smokes. Mine are mounted behind my bumpers, but on a bike I would mount the front receiver behind the fairing. It will see right through the fairing. If you wanted to do rear you could put it in one of the bags. The laser diffuser is the only thing that needs line of site to work. The main guts would be behind fairing too. Then all you'd see is the two blue LEDs and the remote. It sounds more complicated then it actually is. If installed a few dozen of these on Porsches,MB's and other higher end cars.

I'm looking at the TPX and the more I see, the more I like. I have an escort in my car now and it may be better, but it does cost a bit more, the LED's are definitely not bright enough, it's not loud enough, and I know it's not water proof.
