Dent? Ouch brother, sorry to hear that. But I can help you ref the BBP. For quite a while the mods had a sticky here about my BBP problems - you should be able to find it circa OCT-DEC 2011. The biggest word of caution -- V E R Y few painters are "good" at working with HD BBP -- IMHO --
1. INSIST on seeing an example of their BBP work
2. Have your HD DEALER tell you if the paint - AND - activator are in stock ready for shipping to YOU.
Wishing you very good luck, DOOF

I had something bad happen with my RGU right after I got it,fell into a big pothole in front of my gate, and the tube on the gate got the front fender pretty bad.I ended up buying a new fender for way less than list at cyclepartsforless.
they said a lead time of 30 days, but one week later it shippped.
check their price on that part #
http://www.cyclepartsforless.com/product/62330-12DJZ
my fender was 510 list.

Replace the tank. You will be glad you did when it is all over. This way it matches.

I would replace the tank and if you want the tank to look factory with all the decals and badges. I would call PC-PaiN and get a price from him, I got painted parts from HD for my bike and I ordered from PC-PaiN and I am very happy with the price and of course it is factory quality work.
