Thanks that is what i hoped to hear. LEO doesn't bother anyone around here for loud pipes but I was not sure what it was like outside of a 4 state area

Over a period of many years, I've been many places on a H-D. A lot of miles with drag pipes(back in the day), and a lot of miles with, let us say, non factory exhaust. The only time that the subject was ever brought up, I was sitting at a stop sign in downtown Estes Park, Colorado on a 1979 FXE shovelhead, when a local officer pulled in behind me and flipped the lights on me. Expecting a ticket, I pulled to the curb. He wanted to know what kind of pipes I had on the bike, he liked the way they sounded and wanted a set. LOL

Don't do anything stupid to draw attention to yourself and you'll most likely be just fine. Reving your bike at lights and racing through small towns will usually get unwanted attention from the Local Law. My old Road King was pretty loud and I never had any issues with law enforcement.
