In 1983 I bought a 1977 Sportster. Damn thing would shake a turd loose if you werent careful. After a year of riding it I switched to crotch rockets until I retired from the Army in 2001. As a retirement gift to myself I bought a 2001 Softtail Springer (FXSTS). Sold it in 2004 and bought a 2005 FLTR. In 2010 I traded it in on a 2011 RGU. Also a few years ago I thought I needed two bikes so in 2009 I bought a 2007 FXDSE (CVO Dyna). First year of the 110 and nothing but problems so I went from bad to worse and traded it in on a Iron Horse Texas Chopper. If I wasn't getting in trouble with it from the law or mama I was wrenching on it. Finally got tired of two bikes in the stable and sold it. Now its just the RGU.

Bought my first motorcycle at 12 yrs. old, had at least 1 every day of my life to present. Had a 47 Knucklehead my sophmore year in highschool, the next year I bought a bored and stroked 55 Panhead that was the fastest thing I had ever driven, paid 400.00 dollars for it. my senior year I bought a brand 69 Sportster because until the Honda 750-4 came out was the fastest stock motorcycle in the world.
Thousands and thousands of miles on a lot of bikes. I'm 60 years old now and I still have 14 or 15 motorcycles. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever grow up!

Bought my first in 1973 and have lost count of how many I've had since then. I have 18 of my own in the garage and a few of my friends. I'm still looking at what my next purchase might be.

I am going to count the bikes my wife has had as well as they were part of the stable at one time or another.

My bikes:
2005 Road King Custom with ape hangers and custom HD tins. Miles ridden 10k miles SOLD
2012 RGC CVO 16k miles ridden in year 1
2009 Covington Pro Street Chopper (29 miss on it when purchased last month) 500 miles plus ridden in the first 30 days

Wife's bikes:
2007 Sportster 2500 miles ridden SOLD
2005 Fat Boy Screaming Eagle 7000 miles ridden SOLD
2012 Street Glide 7400 miles ridden

In total my wife and I have been riding almost 20 months. If above is a sign to come there will be another purchase next year..... I really wish these would start appreciating in value..
