Gerber liner when it's below 55. Full face helmet. Chaps unless it's in the 40's, then I pull out the ski pants.

Two words.....Hot Chili's.....They are the best under clothes type long johns in the world. They keep you toasty warm when it is cold outside, but unlike long johns they breath so you don't sweat and roast when the temps warm up. Living in Nor cal and riding to work all winter never needed anything more than my leather and good gloves. And didn't need to remove them when I sat at my desk all day at work. Some days were in the 20's
