Exclamation Radio a Shack siren = LOUD!!!

I hope that it's ok I started another thread about this. The original was getting pretty long.
Anyway, I read all the threads and believed what people said but damn, I didn't think it was gonna be as loud as that!
Thanks for a good, cheap mod/addition. It's too bad they all can't be this cheap!
I installed it this afternoon/evening. I had trouble making a good connection. I eventually ended up cutting the two conductors off the HD connector and crimping female connectors onto them then I crimped male connectors onto the wires coming off the siren. ( Damn, those wires on the siren sure are a small gauge!) I attached the siren in place with industrial Velcro.
I tested it once I finally put these connections on and wow.
After I tested it, before I buttoned everything back up, I crimped male connectors onto the short lengths of wire I left coming out the back end of the HD connector so in the unlikely event I buy the HD siren, I can hook everything back to the stock connector.
I tested it again after I put the side cover and saddlebag back on and it was still just as impressively loud.
So all in all, a really good mod/addition. I'll feel a more secure leaving my $21K toy unattended now. Flashing lights wouldn't scare somebody away but that siren surely will!

Yeah it has to be one of the best and cheapest things we can do to the bike. Very impressive sound out of such a small device.

I wonder if the siren connection will stand the amp load of energizing a relay?

It's loud. I just finished putting one on. I moved the fob out of range and when I moved the bike it chirped a couple of time and the siren went off. The siren goes for 20 seconds then stops for about 30 seconds then starts again. It went thru 3 iterataions. I thought that it would reset itself but after 3 times, I got the fob and stopped it. Yowl a that thing is loud. I live on a farm so I tested it without bothering anyone. It should wake me up if I'm at a hotel or someone breaks in my shop.

The only additional suggestion I have to this great mod is that I added a hidden kill switch so I can shut the audible alarm when I move the bike around the garage while working on it.

Just my 2 cents

So.......
My question was if the alarm circuit would support a 12V relay, such as a control for a Steibel air horn.
Thoughts?

Most relays draw very little current, I'm sure the ckt would support one.
