The secret is out in San Antonio
I knew the secret was getting out but I didn't realize how much the shark tank was growing until I pulled into work today at building 1000 on Fort Sam Houston and there were two other RGs in the parking lot already. It may not sound like a lot but there are usually only 9-12 bikes out there around this time if year anyway.

The cool thing is, even though the secret is getting out, the way folks change them up for their personal needs/likes, they are still a pretty diverse looking group of bikes where ever you come across them.

They do look good sitting out there. At least we are bringing class to the group.

It always surprised me how few riders rode in San Antonio this time of year. I remember freezing my butt off on a trip to Ft Hood from Fort Sam in Feb when stationed there many many moons ago. Took 281 North and seemed like it took forever for the sun to rise that day.

I don't know why more people don't ride this time of year. There are not too many days where it is to extreme to ride, unless there is a Texas Thunderstorm.

The whole "RG is a secret" is long over. I know we like to think we're in on something that no one else is onto, but that hasn't been the case for a couple years. Ever since the RG Custom came out sales of the RG have blown up. Adding the Ultra in 2011 just added to the momentum. Most of the dealers in this area can't keep thim in stock. You want a Street Glide or an E-Glide? No problem, take your pick from several in stock. Want a RGC? Well, we've got one coming in pretty soon. They're selling like hotcakes, ass we used to say.
So, RG owners are not a small minority anymore, we're fast becoming a big part of the HD family. It's no secret.
