The bars require no extra length in the cables, though I think I read somewhere that the clutch cable will need to be rerouted. If anyone has advice I'd surely appreciate it. I'll post pics when I'm done. The order (free shipping, BTW) usually takes one day from Maine to Rhode Island, but with this storm I'm sure that'll be delayed. Wind is whipping pretty good as I write this!

You will like the Helibars. I have them on my shark. Took a little while to get them to exactly where I wanted them, but worth the effort. Best part is you can adjust them mid ride if you need to. The only down side to them is the wiring is all external, so not the cleanest look. I find that they have a lot of pull back, so they are perfect with a back rest. I will try and get a pic loaded so you can see

Triggs, thank you for uploading the pics. I'm just seeing them now, as I have not checked this thread in quite a while.
I finally installed my Helis a few weeks ago. Installation took me about 5 hours or so following the post by Donk (Thanks Donk!). I've only managed a few rides with them due to the weather, but I am very happy with them. Still got some tweaking to do to get them just right, but that won't be a problem. I am amazed at the high quality of these bars. With almost unlimited adjustment options, I know I'll find that "sweet spot".

I solved my 2011 FLTRX handlebar issue with a used seat from a ultra and setting the angle of the stock bars back as far as they would go. Much more comfortable now. YMMV.
