So I'm trying to change the fuel filter on this stupid tank. How the &$(# does the electronic thing unplug? Feel like I've tried everything short of a dremel. What am I trying to release with the screwdriver?
What year is the bike? On my 09 i simply press down on the top of the connector and pulled apart. There may be a safety lock to prevent separating the connector. I don't remember on mine. Grab a manual and see what it says
2011. I've watched the video where you put the little screwdriver into the gap but I don't know weather to push or pull back. Nothing seems to make a difference and I couldn't find a picture in the manual to know what the plug looks like so it's hard to know where the connection is secured.
Uncouple it under the seat and leave the pigtail on the console.
