I have rode a lot with half helmets using googles, half visors and googles, various types of glasses. most work for a while, but once they gey get wet they just never seemed to clear until drier weather.
Also used a modular with a regular sheild and just ran into fogging it I didn't crack it open a bit and eventualy it would mist up and be useless.

This spring I got a new modular (HJC SyMax3) that has a visor that is "PinLock" equiped.
It alows you to put a Pinlock shield on, which is almost like a tear off that fits on the inside of the visor.
A lot of you in the warmer states might not have ever seen this but as a rural boy growing up in Alberta, we had a simalar idea on the passenger windows of the school buses and it prevented them from frosting up in the winter.
I can't stress just how good this system works at preventing fogging on your visor, allowing you to keep the visor down and the rain out of the eyes.
You can ( and I have this summer) ride all day and no fogging ever happens.

First I reduce speed by about 20% of posted, & I assume, like you, I berlieve I have learned when to call it a day, stop, have a drink, hit the pool and get rested up for the next day.

I always rock a full face helmet. I have learned, since I ride year long, that instead of anti-fog sprays on the inside of the visor (which create the halo effects at night ) I use regular eye glass cleaner with the silicone protectants on the inside and outside of my visor. It leaves my visor crystal clear at night and the silicone film left behind keeps fogging to a minumum. The other added benefit of the silicone film is the water just rolls right off in the rain keeping my visor clear. I can not speak to how long the film lasts because I ride a lot and clean my visor every couple weeks.

I got caught in a hard rain today. I have 7 eye sunglasses with the foam around the eyes. Couldn't see a thing because of the fogging. I remembered my days of scuba diving so I spit on the inside of my glasses & rubbed it around, no fog after that.

Has anyone used a heated visor?
My Brother lives in Buffalo and rides snowmobiles. He uses a heated visor an doesn't have fogging issues. But that's a full face helmet.

I have the same 7eye glasses and I too have fogging as well as a glare when the sun is just above eye level. Not a good sunglass in the inclement wx.

Actually I hate them and just got a pair of Ray Ban's to go under my modular helmet shield.

I ride up here in Alaska with lot's of wet cold days. When the weather turn bad I wear a
EXO 900 quietest mod/type lid Ive tried. With good venting and no fog issues.
