Pigtail on bike when I got it. Check out Value teck, Don is a great guy and stands behind everything he sells plus shipping is cheap.

The dealers around here install the pigtail on everything. I use the Tender in the winter, but don't in the summer since the bike typically doesn't sit more than a couple days. I've got a set of the clips too, so I'll borrow the Tender from the bike and put it on my old truck for a day or two if it's been parked for a while. I need to invest in another Tender since I've got a riding mower now too.

Believe it or not, I did not replace the battery on my 2001 Jackhammer until this year and it was always on the battery tender. I also have a 2000 Dodge 3/4 ton diesel with the original batteries and no tender.

Default Have to keep your batt maintained

yeah, you have to keep your batt maintained. no need to ruin a good batt every year. i have used tenders before, i have the genius g1100 for my bike b/c it is an agm batt. standard tenders will ruin a agm batt, so make sure you dont have an agm.
