Titan II 6.5" upgrade

I am going to run the Titans once I get a refund on the JUNK Cycle Sounds that I had planed on running. Bill at Bike Tronics is who I have been talking with and he seems to be a strait up guy. I am going to run a Soundstream 520watt 4channel amp bridged to 260 watts RMS to each speaker and if they blow all I have to do is send them in for warranty.

I have Hawgwired 6.5 in the Fairing with 400W pushing them. You can hear em about a mile away in both directions...but they are stupid money. adding another amp and speakers in the bags this winter....better than loud pipes...you can hear them in both directions...

I ordered the Hawg Wired "6 Pack", from Frank @ Drago's Bike Works, based on all the reviews I've read on Our Forum and others. I'm waiting on their arrival.

Hawg Wired has awesome products and excellent customer relations.
But like was stated prior, sound is a personal preference. One suggestion would be to find guys with bikes that have the sound system you're interested in and give them a listen.

look at sensitivity rating at 1w, the higher the db level at 1w, the better
in terms of overall output

if you mix speakers, the power output of the weakest speaker will be doubled

so find a nice pair that are similar in timber, or sound characteristics

I A/B'd 4 pairs, ZX, TitanII, Polk DB651, and pioneer TS-G144R

ran them all thru 1w of power, then selected pairs to get the best combo.

That was what I had, those 4 brands, I chose what I chose based on my ears, etc... and what I had

my second pair was chosen based on not wanting to cut the glove boxes, and they matched sonically okay with the ZX

but 2 pairs of ZX would be "fairly kick ass" to say the least, with lowers, you have the room.

they are stacked components, 25% better transmission efficiency, their power rating is 100/200w

i have them and love them....ran a set for 3months...finally added a second set in the lowers today. great quality very clear and loud my i just want a little more bass. need some by 9s for that tho.

When picking out your sound you have to think , what's this gonna sound like at 75 mph.
Remember you can't hear much bass if any, so find a sound that will cut through the wind.
I have a ARK amp and focal 165ic and WOW the sound is all there all the time . A bit on the costly side but I don't have to look any further. I hope this helps
