True Duals
Sorry if this has been hashed out in the past as I am new to this site. I just bought a 2003 Anniversary Road Glide that has the 95" big bore kit and has older slip on White Brothers mufflers. I am wondering if it is worth the $500.00to buy true dual head pipes? I was looking at the Bassani Power Curve head pipes. Any input on this would be really appreciated!

Lots of information in the forum about exhaust set-ups. Look around, do your homework and make a choice. Power, noise, torque, all the info is waiting for you to read it.
I had a 2006 Road King Classic with the Stage II 95" kit, I put on BUB 7 true duals. I like it enough, but it got too loud for my liking so I put in the quiet baffles offered by BUB, it helped a bit, but was still loud.
Currently, my 2011 FLTRU has the Jackpot 2-1-2 header with stock mufflers and it's just fine in the sound department.

Best duals on the market IMHO:
http://www.dragosbikeworks.com/dragos_scs_true_duals
Cermic coated inside and out, spiral cut headers, and they sound fantastic! Also have both size O2 sensor bungs so no issues with that either.
I ran them with his 4" Dragula mufflers and everywhere I went people wanted to hear the pipes and know where I got them.
Good luck

I'v got dragos duals and mufflers and just put them on and they are freaking awesome. They sound great look great and frank was great to order from. I like them better than my buddies rhinehart duals and mufflers by far.

Give Frank @ Drago's a call.....he ain't going to steer you wrong.
I'm waiting for a little more cash-flow, and I'll be ordering
a set of his true duals myself.

I got the Vance and Hines Big Shot true duels on my 08 and I love them. The exhaust systems for the 09 and later models are different then the 08 and earlier so you need to be sure what you are getting. The Vance and Hines Big Shot True duels for the 08 and earlier touring model HD are a complete exhaust system and by that I mean that each cylinder has its own exhaust pipe that is 1 piece not a header and a slip 2 piece exhaust pipe, the heat shields are one piece as well so the are absolutely no seams in your heat shield like you would get with the 2 piece exhaust pipe. For your bike I would recommend the V&H pipes for a nice clean look that shows off the engine and provides great performance.

Im really torn on this topic as well..
Recently bought a pair of 4" RH slip on's so now I need a head pipe.
one minute Im dead sold on VH power duals and the next Im leaning towards Dragos.
Found nothing but good reviews of both. I'm just trying to figure out how much if any power I'll loose going with Dragos duals over the VH 2:1:2 pipe
