I plan to order a Mako this week, just can't decide on the size.... my National Cycle shield sits 8¾" above the radio ledge. The wind goes over my head and I see over the shield.
Pics of the 14" look BIG.... I'm wondering if the 13" will do even if its shorter.

LRS says to take 6 inch off the windshield height to = height above the radio. Example, a 15” Mako would sit 9 inch above the radio, a 12 inch Mako would sit 6 inch above. I just ordered a 13 inch in med. Tint.
I installed the 14" Dark Gray last week. Took a 200 mile ride Saturday and I'm digging it. It is exactly 8" above the radio. I'm 6'-1" with a 31" inseam for comparison. Its about right at my mustache level. Seems to provide good protection. I rode with my 3/4 helmet, but want to try it with my half helmet before giving a final thumbs up.

The measurement sounds about right. On a Mako thread I started I had said my 13" was 7.25" which was on top of the dash above the radio. So I guess you can remove a 1/4" for the difference at the radio lip. There is also a possibility a 12" would have worked fine too, but the 13" should afford a passenger better protection. It will be traveling to SWIII and back.
