Iam looking at a power commander 5 , retro fit for my 08 , i have a stock head pipe with rinehart slipons ( i do not like the rineharts , Anyone want to trade ) and a k&n filter in the stock ac housing , here is my question .
1) Will the pcv make any difference with my current intake exhaust combo ,
2) How hard is the install ? IE. wire splicing , remove o2 sensors etc

If you open up the air intake with the basic SE setup, it's not exspensive. Then add the PCV with a basic map, that will really wake it up.

The PCV is not very hard to install at all. I'm running a PCV with autotune and it works great. There is a bit more involved with the autotune. If I had to do it again, I would just go with the SE RACE TUNER and keep it simple.

Here are the install instructions for the PCV. You must be purchasing from Fuel Moto if you are buying a Retro unit? Had one on my 08 Heritage from Fuel Moto and it worked great. Sold it to member mseymour67 and as far as I know he is still using it.

It will make a very noticeable difference in performance and the install is pretty much plug and play. No splicing necessary. The O2 Sensors will be unplugged and O2 Sensor Eliminators plugged into the wiring harness.

Not that there is any issue with the PCV but curious as to why you are not considering the Power Vision Tuner.

I found a used one for 150 bucks and it is one of the fuelmoto retro fit pcv, says it comes with everything that it came with when new, so it should have the o2 sensor eliminators with it i assume

That sounds like a good deal even if you had to buy new O2 Sensor Eliminators. They can be had for $25.95 at Motorcycle Superstore.
