Default LED Turn/Brake Light Strips in Filler Panel

I am looking for a solution to put lights into the filler panels next to the rear fender. I have considered using plasma rods next to the filler, like Chainsaw and some others had done in the past, but prefer to put something directly into the filler.

I really like the "Yaffe Middle Finger" lights but i keep choking on the $300 price tag. http://www.milwaukeebagger.com/product_p/py-ezmf-b.htm

I am looking for something with a bezel so that i dont have to bond it into the filler panel and get it painted. I dont mind cutting a hole in the filler as i have to cut the filler for the yaffe ones also, just prefer to not have to

Something like these but that dont stick out as far. These ones are surface mount. I might try them anyway because they are cheap enough. I would paint or powdercoat the bezel black.

Anyone have any other ideas?
