S&S 145" crate engine
S&S B2 Heads re-worked here(HUGE FLOW NUMBERS!!!)
Hoban Bros/Darkhorse crank, lightened/balanced
Wood TW-72 cams
11.25 cr
All powder coated @ Sumax(.com)
Crane Fireball ignition
Client is going with a Wood 505 Super King carb/D manifold
Client is providing his own custom fabricated pipes
This naturally-aspirated engine has the ear-marks of being a top producer.

Scott, that sounds like a well thought out package with some great components. I would love to try Bobby's TW-72 cams in a build like this. Keep us posted on how the build comes along.

stock hd tranmission handle that monster? I know people are putting blowers on and getting numbers around 200/ 200 but always wondered how long the tranny will last. One thing I have experienced is high power always finds the weakest link. Love to see that monster on the street. Do you predict this will be a streetable motor or just a short hop beast?

Street-friendly powerplant.
The transmission will handle it, as the back tire will be the cushion, but if a slick was used for race-track application, the weakest link will surface.
One thing we use on the 5 speeds, is the S&S trans mainshaft race, to eliminate the migration of that into the MDG seal.
